Hi professionals,

What do you feel are the best ways you've found to attract new clients this year? Did anything surprise you? I still find that networking with other professionals such as hairstylists and people in community groups have helped my practice the best. While I was concerned that Groupon might harm skincare sales it's turning out that these incentives are attracting a lower-value customer who is proving very difficult to convert to far higher prices, the ones spa operators and estheticians need in order to survive. It's also becoming a trap for cash-strapped operators who have to keep resorting to Groupon promotions just to get any reliable income at all. That just won't pay in the end.

Got a story for your colleagues?
