Give your website some love! Easy, effective (and low-cost!) ways to promote your website (and Instant GCs if you sell them):

1. Print your website address on everything — EVERYTHING - bags, business cards, promotional tent cards displayed around product and service areas
2. Paint your website address on your door! (Right under your phone number)
3. Include your website in all your ads. If you advertise special promotions, consider using landing pages in your ads.
4. Include your website in your voicemail greeting — and tell clients that they can purchase Instant Gift Certificates online if you sell them
5. Train staff to mention to clients your great online capabilities
6. Print your website address on private label products
7. Incent clients to visit your website by offering online-only specials — and then promote it in-store
8. If you sell Instant Gift Certificates, be sure to include samples in retail bags so your clients can see how pretty they are
9. Use a tent card at your front desk to tell everyone that Gift Certificates are available on your website and in your store
10. Don’t forget to feature your website in press releases

I love providing on line only specials. It not only gets people online, but if you have an effective and easily navigated site, you can keep people there for just enough time to increase the purchase power. Not only can you increase sales with gift certificates from people like spa boom, or campaign mojo, but you can include your private lable products, creative packages, anything you can stamp your logo (and website) on, and just plain educate people about your property.

Online information and shopping is so strong in our economy, that it would be great to offer a video tour, blog, wiki, java script photos of your spa, or anything interactive. Some people are more tech savvy then others, and they will take advantage of this more than, but when they do, they will appreciate it. You can also check with your web provider for increased web traffic, and what your site can handle. Matt is a great source for that, I also know plenty of people who do web site search engine optimization.

We love the web. It has brought us all together, right!
