Hi Douglas,
Would love to share my appreciation for you. I went to a spa the other day for some much needed
post holiday rest and relaxation. Well, suffice it to say that I thought of you and through the entire
facial. I needed a good facial, but what I needed even more was to feel special and nurtured. The
service failed miserably on both accounts. Two days later I’m still disappointed by it. As a solo
esthetician I constantly need to remind myself that this business is experience driven. Disney World
is a great touchstone. Nobody wants to see the underbelly or behind the scenes on how Disney
creates the magic, they come in search of the fantasy that can enrapture a child or transport an adult
back to the wonderment of childhood.
I witness very intelligent people (me included) getting lost in obsessing over which product to buy,
which technology to use, which sheets to get. While all of these choices ultimately do matter, what
gets lost is how to bring them together to create a memorable experience. I would have enjoyed
my facial the other day if she would have skipped the toner and used some compassion instead.

at least two licensed estheticians currently
working in their establishment (evidence of

• Scheduling and appearing for monthly
mentoring calls with a Preston 100 Club™
career coach are the responsibility of
the member, not Preston Inc. Missed
appointments or failure to schedule a
coaching session in a given calendar month
constitute fulfillment of the benefit for that
month and cannot be rescheduled, refunded
or replaced by Preston Inc. All coaching calls
originate from the member, not Preston Inc.
• Late membership payments will require the
suspension of all membership benefits until
such a time that payment has been received.
Payments not received within 15 days of
due date will be construed as a cancellation
of membership, and all further access to
benefits and services will cease. A notice of
